Deconstructing Sketch #82 - Congratulations!

This is the last Deconstructing Sketch for this year and this card is my last card for 2012...

A friend asked me if I could make her a baby card for one of her friends and this is what I came up with...

I used one of my very favourite Kraftin' Kimmie stamps "Stripes The Zebra" which is now retiring from the store, so if you like him there is still time to drop by and get him...

The papers are from MME's Lime Twist "Fly A Kite" 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment is also from Kraftin' Kimmie's Everyday Sentiment Set and the punch from Fiskars.

This is Jen's amazing sketch, which btw, I flipped so that the image would fit nicely on the card.

I coloured Stripes in with my Prisma pencils and as you can see did a little sewing and distressing...

You can find Stripes HERE at the Kraftin' Kimmie Store...

Because it's Christmas and the end of the year Jen has decided to make this a two week challenge.
Here's what you have to do to enter:

1. Use the sketch to the left to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like.
2. Post it somewhere on the internet. Use keyword DS82 if you post to an online gallery like Splitcoaststampers.
3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post so we can stop by and see it.
4. Check back here next Wednesday to see if you are one of this week’s favorites and grab a badge for your blog.

Want your sketches a little early? Follow the Deconstructed Sketch on Facebook!! And if you are looking for some older sketches to dig through you can find them in the Deconstructed Sketchbook

Deconstructing Sketch #43 - Be Naughty!!!

In the mist of the chaos that I call my craft/study
at the moment... I am re-arranging and de-cluttering. You
know how it is... when you buy a new print to go on the wall
and suddenly you need to make the room look nice for the
print... Yes, Ok, I know I am weird!!! Anywhoo,  After a bit
of stressing and procrastination I HAVE actually managed to
make a card for this week's
Deconstructing Sketch!!!

 This is my card...

This is Jen's Sketch for this week! I know I practically
gush every week how Jen's sketch's are AMAZING!! But
seriously... they are... and this one is SO fantastic to work
with you really should give it a try!!

This week I dug out one of my most favourite Kraftin'
Kimmie stamps to use... Drucilla!!

The paper's I have used are from MME's Miss Caroline
"Dilly Dally" 6x6 paper pad. The Sentiment "Be Naughty"
comes from Kraftin' Kimmie's "Sassy" sentiments.

If you’d like to join us this week all you need to do is create a
project using the above sketch as inspiration. There are no specific
image requirements for this challenge. Upload your project to your
blog or to an online gallery and link it back Jen's blog to Inlinkz.

The border punch is from Fiskars and the flower punches
are from EK Sucess.

Let me introduce you to the gorgeous
Magical Mathilda...

I LOVE this image, it really has be one of my favourites for
this release....And I don't know, it sort of reminds me of
Hogwarts and the books...The Worst Witch etc.

The papers are from MME's Lost and Found collection and this
particular 6x6 paper pad is called "Union Square". I used this
months SFYTT ...Cause it's just works!! And the sentiment
"Come And Sit For A Spell" is just one of two sentiments that come
with Mathilda when you purchase her!

I had the idea that I would colour Mathilda all in black
and white with my Prisma pencils but sort of changed my
mind at the last minute...The card just needed the colour...
Well, you know what I mean....

I then finished the card off with the papers I had left over and the
other sentiment "Bug and Hisses to You!".
