This week's Deconstructing Sketch challenge took me 3 days to make because I kept changing my mind every 5 minutes to what I was going to do... You know how it goes... Do I use an image or do I just stick with a sentiment?... What papers do I use?... Do I make it look vintage or cutesie?.. I have mention to you before that procrastination is one of the things I do best haven't I??... Now I think I have officially graduated too... From sometimes practicing procrastination to the Queen Bee!! Anywhoo, I finished it {finally} and I am pretty happy how it turned out I must say so myself...
I started off thinking that I felt way too lazy to actually go through the process of choosing and colouring an image, and being in said lazy mood, I decided to go with a "Happy Birthday" sentiment from Hero Arts. Which kinda worked well as I have a friends birthday coming up and I am going out to dinner to help her celebrate on Friday night. I then chose one of my all time favourite MME's 6x6 paper pads from the Lost and Found Two collection "Rosy" to use because I could tell that this was not going to a cutesie card but a vintage/distressed monstrosity... I then studied Jen's sketch for...Well, I would say at least half a day...
Then it all came together in the end using some gorgeous Prima flowers some black and white bakers twine a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and a gorgeous Martha Stewart dollie.... Dudahhhhh....
If you'd like to join us this week all you need to do is create a project using the above sketch as inspiration. There are no specific image requirements for this challenge. Upload your project to your blog or to an online gallery and link it back to Jen's Blog using the Inlinkz.
And be sure to hop around and check out what the rest of the Deconstructed Sketch Design Team has made!
