TTICC #2 - Thoughts Of Bella...

Hey Everyone...

First thing I want to say is

Happy Australia Day!

And because it's technically our "birthday" today I thought I
would share with you some of MY favourite Australian things...

First we have
Hugh Jackman....

Then the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge at night time....

Oh, and Hugh Jackman....

And the beautiful sunsets at the
Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road....

And last but not least...
Not forgetting Hugh Jackman.....

So there you go...
Just a few of my most favourite Australian things :o)

Ok, now for the reason I am actually doing this post...

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Colour Challenge

This week our alluring Alison has given us these colours to work with...

Alison's colours are inspired by Bella.

I chose Garnet because originally, that was Bella's favorite gemstone
(before she went & changed it to Topaz for Edward’s eyes!).
Next, I chose Phoenix Sky Blue because Bella
frequently mentions how she misses the colors of her hometown.

Lastly, I decided that we need to throw a neutral into the mix,
so I picked Forks’ Sky. It’s a grayish green.
Don’t get too thrown by the shade I chose…
if you just use a regular gray, that’s fine!
But if you wanna try to really wow us…
go for this a little more interesting, if not a wee bit dreary color!
Can’t wait to see your creations!!!

Ok, I had a bit of a hard time with these colours.
And wouldn't you believe it it wasn't the grayish/green I had
trouble with...It was the blue!!

Yeah, as I said I didn't in ALL my paper stash have the right colour blue
(I see a trip to my Scrapbook Store is in order!).
So I hope that Ali will be satisfied with the little bit of blue
on Camille's (aka Bella) coat!

As you can see I used TGF's Camille (aka Bella) digi for this card.
I coloured her in with my Prisma's and also gave her a bit of ground to stand on...
This is a first for me. Hope it looks ok...

Hahaha! You are too funny...Hugh is easy on the eyes, but I'll keep my complicated Edward.

Love your fabulous card. The rich colors are perfect. I like how you grounded the image with the grass.
