Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #15 - Aperture card!

As promised it's time for another

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge

This week my wonderfully, awe-inspiring, and amazing fellow
GDTM Melaine (Mel) has given us the challenge of making an

Aperture Card...

What the heck is an Aperture Card? I hear you saying....

Well an Aperture Card has a window in
the front that you can look through....

Like this....

Well, ok, not necessary a "window"like I have done...
But a hole in the front that you can see through to the middle of the card....

Like so....

I tell you what, I really don't know why I do this to myself...
Instead of just keeping it nice and easy and cutting just one hole in the
front of my card I had to do a 'window'...I have no one to blame but
myself...I chose 6 layers to cut through...
I just didn't know cutting out all the squares by hand,
thank you very much,
would be so time consuming and tedious!! NEVER again...
If someone asks me to do this again...I am sticking to just 2 layers!
(I would have said 1 ...but come on, we all know I am the layering queen here!!)

Anyway...enough of me ranting!!

I chose to use Clara for this challenge..
Mainly cause of the way she is standing and the fact that I could
use the little bird that comes as an accessory stamp when you buy
her to hang outside her window...

I coloured her in with my Prisma's and cut her out, then I
decided to use this Gorgeous October Afternoon DP.
(let just face it...ALL October Afternoon DP is gorgeous!)

This is the middle of the card....
The reason I left a little space is so you can write who it's to,
just as well I have small handwriting! :0)

I have used 'A little Birdie Told Me' from
Kimmie's 'Fun' sentiments,
and the 'Happy Birthday' from
Kimmie's 'Everyday' sentiments...

So that is my Aperture Card...

Thank's Mel...
It was fun!!
Apart from the cutting....
Which is totally my fault!

If you want to see what the Krafty Girls have also made
with this challenge head on over to the

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp
Challenge Blog

And check them out..
OMGoodness...Just AMAZING cards...
I tell ya...these ladies just ROCK!!!

And if you do decided to have a go....
And if you have one, use a Kraftin' Kimmie Image
and you could be in the draw to win one
of Kimmie's awesome stamps!!

Ok,
That's it for me!
Have a wonderful weekend

Stamps: Kraftin' Kimmie - Clara
Papers: October Afternoon, Bazzil

This is amazing Donna! Love it! Next time, cut out the one window and add two strips of cardstock to make the 4 panes. It's much easier and your hands will be much happier with you {wink}!
