TTIC # 53 - The Transformation

Ok...So it's Tuesday and you all know what that means another

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge

This week the alluring and awesomely talented
Alison has chosen this weeks theme....

The Transformation

Ali writes: I am so excited to bring you my second challenge! This one is a little different, because you get the opportunity to make yourself the subject!

*Spoiler Alert!*
Don't continue reading if you haven't finished The Twilight Saga!!!

In Breaking Dawn, Bella transforms from human to vampire. In life, we all go through changes...though not a severe as Bella's! What kind of changes have you physically gone through? Cut off your hair? Dyed it Blue (like me)? Nose job? Pregnancy? Lost a lot of weight? We just celebrated Halloween...Did you or someone you know wear a costume that transformed them to being unrecognizable?

Craft Challenge: Create something that narrates a physical change that you have gone through.

Comment Challenge: Tell us about you change, or a change that you wish you could go through!

I sort of was having a bit of a hard time choosing what
I would do for this challenge... I thought I might tell you all
of how I was VERY overweight a couple of years ago...
I was not obese or anything like that but
very uncomfortable in my
own skin, and how I lost 15kg
(I have know idea how much that is in pounds...Hold on while I find out!!
.....Ok, hubby just informed me that that is about 33 pounds
).
But to be perfectly honest, the thought of showing you my fat pictures made me want to run a mile... So I sort of settled on the reason I put on weight in the first place...

My Boys...

Not only was having children a physical transformation for me...It was and still is an emotional roller coaster!! And I can say that having my children has been one of the biggest life changing transformations of my life!

I love my boys with all my heart... But come on...Being a parent sometimes isn't all it's cracked up to be!!..It's really hard work....
Throw an 11 year Autistic son into that mix and life just keeps on getting busier by the minute....I am not complaining...I am sooooo lucky to have my boys and they are good kids. I also realise that there are so many people out there that have it so
much worse off than we do...

But there you go...
For all the fun and laughter, tears and whinging
that they are hungry when I am reading a really good book....
This post is dedicated to BJ and Cam....

BJ about 9 months old

Cam about 9 1/2 months old

BJ and Cam
11 and 9

And this is my card dedicated to the transformation
of two happy, healthy, clean, quite adults... into this.....

OMG ~ Donna ~ I can see the twitch in the eye!!! You did such a great job & yep, totally understand those ups & downs. Funny thing is about 2 weeks ago ~ I had a twitch in my eye for almost the entire week! Let's just say it was a trying & stressful week ~ most self-imposed of course, trying to be a 'good' mommy...

Perfect Card... I agree with you 100% having a 7 year old Autistic son myself.. It's a challenge I was given and I always believe it was for a reason and when I feel like I'm going to pull all my hair out.. I know it could always be worse..
