TTIC # 49 - Home Is Where The Heart Is....

Hello everyone...Well it's Tuesday...AGAIN! I swear I have no clue as to where this week has already gone....Let alone this year!.... I know it's seems like I am always complaining about how fast this year is passing me by...But I tell you what, every time I sit down to do another post for Twilight Tuesday I am totally amazed that 7 days has already past me by...LOL!

This week our beautiful and talented Erica has chosen

"Home Is Where The Heart Is"

Erica writes: Throughout the series Bella discusses a lot of homes. Spends a lot of time at home, maybe not her home, but if the saying is true, it is home to her. This challenge is pretty simple. Make a craft based on either a home discussed in the series or what home means too you. Here are some of the houses discussed in the book....

Charlie's House: Unchanged since Renee moved out. I always remember her discussing the yellow cabinets in the kitchen. Kind of small, a sort of bachelor pad with a bit of an outdated woman's touch.

Renee's Homes: In Phoenix and in Jacksonville.

The Cullen's House: Giant windows, open, white, three stories, a mix of modern and classic decor.

The Holiday Home On Isle Esme:

Edward and Bella's Cottage: My personal favourite, small, a mix of many styles, stone floors, small garden, fireplace, think Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

And of course you can't forget....

Emily and Sam's Home: With flower boxes and something always cooking.

Billy and Jacob's Home: Small but always welcoming.

Comment Portion: If you could build your dream home, what would it be like?

So for this fantastic challenge I chose to base a card on Emily and Sam's home....

When I think of Emily and Sam's I always imagine a warm, happy, something always baking in the oven kinda home... A place that you can walk into and immediately you feel welcome and comfortable.... So I went for that country feel....

I pulled out my trusty Cosmo Cricket DP, which fitting enough is called
"Apron Strings" and tried the whole warm and cosy feel for this card... I picked out a quote that I have had lying around for ages and .....There you go!

Stamps: Hero Arts
Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill
Ink: Versafine-Black, TH Walnut Distress Ink
Accessories: Ribbon, Scrapbook Factory Deluxe, MS Border Punch, Brads, Kasier Pearls
Technique: Distressing, Scrapbook Factory Deluxe.

Sooo LOVELY, Donna! What a great choice for your inspiration this week --I LOVE that the wolfpack hangs at Sam and Emily's like it's their second home. So much comfort and warmth there, and you brought those things out in your card as well. Beautiful job all around!
