I painted another canvas last week to go in the lounge room. I wanted something to hang above the grey chair and tie the whole green/grey colour scheme I have got going on in there. I decided to go with a long canvas, I don't know why, just seemed like a good idea at the time and now that it's up I am a bit unsure about it... What do you think?
The one thing I wasn't unsure of was the way I painted it. I wanted it to be dark on the top half and white on the bottom...
These photo's don't do the space much justice..... Although, as I type this I am thinking I might have to go with something a bit bigger.... Or maybe hang something next to it?!
I guess I'll let it hand for a week or so and see if it grows on me... Do you do that? Let things grow on you or do you look at it straight away and know for sure??

I love, love, LOVE this canvas, Donna! Fabulous! You need to move it to another location (don't paint over this one, it's great!) and paint another one that is a bit bigger for that space - perhaps square the same side length as the longest side on this one? Feel free to ignore me, I'm in no way an interior designer, LOL!
I love your art Donna...and I'm loving your chair too. What a cosy little corner you have created.
