Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #70 - Buttons!!

Hello Everyone...
I hope you are all having a fantastic Saturday so far.
And this being a Saturday means it's it's time for a
Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge!!

This week our very talented and very sweet Krista has
set the challenge....

 BUTTONS!!

That's right, Krista would like you to use buttons as the
main embellishment on your creation.

And this is my card...

For this week's challenge I used one of the fantastic Krafty Quotes in
Set #1 by Lucille Ball that Kimmie released last month. They feature
wonderful and uplifting phrases that can be the focal point of your
project or a complimentary accent. They are perfect for
scrapbook pages, altered items and scrappy cards!

This set features quotes from Audrey Hepburn, Lucille Ball,
Louisa May Alcott and Mother Teresa. You will receive them as
a sheet of deeply etched, completely unmounted rubber.
Each sentiment measures approximately 3.25 x 1.5 inches.
And you can find them here at the Kraftin' Kimmie Store.

The papers I used for this card are from the very popular
MME Collection of Stella and Rose and I believe that I used
the ones from the Gertie 6x6 paper pad set.

I distressed the papers using my Heidi Swap edge distresser
and then went around the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain
distress ink. The dollie I got from a friend...I distressed that too
and then I used buttons to finish off the card.

Just a closer look at the gorgeous quote.

And a look at what I did in the inside of the card...

Ok,
Now, if you would like to play along with us all
