Wild Flower Kids Valentine's Release...

Ok, it's time!!

Welcome to the

Wild Flower Kids

Valentine's Release

Blog Hop

Owner, Designer and my very good friend Jen Shults has been
working very hard to get these absolutely
gorgeous images perfect for you.
And I tell you what...You will not be disappointed, not only can you
use them on Valentine cards but they are perfect for
just about every other occasion!

So, not to keep you waiting any longer...
I would like to introduce

Valentine Sage

I must confess every time my 10 year old son sees Sage he mentions
how cool it would be to get a birthday card made with him...
Do you think he might be hinting??

Anyway, I coloured Sage in with my Prismas, of course.... I used
Light Umber, Ginger Root and Dark Brown for his hair. Blue Slate,
Indigo Blue and Perwinkle for his jeans.
Limepeel and Dark Green for his
shirt. Beige and Peach for his skin...
And Black to high light and shade with.

I had a little bit of this gorgeous
Scenic Route DP laying around and thought
that it would be perfect for a boy Valentine.

Just a little closer look at my colouring.

With the digi's that are being released today
Jen has also given us these amazing
Valentine Sentiments
to go with the images...
I used "Hugs and Kisses" on my
Valentine Lily card that you can see
if you scroll down a couple of posts and with this card
I chose "Be Mine" and the
kisses and hugs that
you can see in the inside of my card.
The beauty of digi's is that you can re-size the images to any
size you want and as you can see I made
the kisses and hugs larger.

Ok,
Next I want to introduce...

Heart Fairy

This image has to be one of my very favourites designs of Jen's...
Isn't she cute!!!

With this card I chose my DP first and I couldn't go past the gorgeous
MME "Be Loved" range...
Then I sort of matched the Prisma colours with the DP.
I used Parrot Green and Light Green for her dress Pale Vermillion,
Mineral Orange and Poppy Red for her wings.
The same hair colours that
I used for Sage then Crismson Red and
Crimson Lake for the hearts. Beige and Peach for skin tones and Black
to high light and shade....

I then cut her out and used my
TH Shabby Shutters Distress Ink
to distress the back ground.
I used the "Always and Forever" for the sentiment
and added ribbon and a button.

I used this amazing quote from the
Valentine Sentiments
to go in the inside of my card.

Now I know that the
Wild Flower Patch Design Team
Have been extreamly busy creating
some awe-inspiring projects and cards
why not check them out...
