It that time of the week again and time for another
Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge
This week it's my turn!!
Yes, that's right Chickie's.. Little old me ...
(less of the old though..ok!!)
So, this is my challenge to you....
With Valentines day fast approaching and everybody in a lovey dovey, touchy feely kinda mood, I thought the most obvious thing I could challenge you all to is to create a Valentine’s day card for your favourite Twilight Saga character *sigh*…Rob…I mean…Edward….What?? A girl can dream can’t she??!! …But then I thought….Nar, too easy!
This is what I would like you to do….
Craft Portion: Make a VALENTINE’S card/project for your favourite character or for YOUR valentine… but…. with texture!! That’s right I want you to add things like lace, raised embossing, distressed edges, fuzzy fibres, metal, cloth, cracked glass, leather, flower soft, sandpaper, anything that adds texture!
Comment Portion: Tell us your favourite Valentine’s story…Or if you haven’t got one, Tell us who you would like to snuggle up on Valentine’s day with from the Twilight Saga..
even then I liked the idea of getting you all
to put a little texture on your creations...
For this challenge I wanted to use Dani's
gorgeous sketch TTSC 19
You can find all the details about the sketch and some of the
amazing Design Teams creations at the
Twilight Tuesday Challenge Blog.
Now, as I was saying, I decided to use Dani's cool sketch
but I flipped it.....
Where's the texture?
Well, I did what I do best and distressed
the crap out of it!
It's just a little hard to see in the photo's...
I used this really cute little digi that
I found on Lori Boyd's Blog from
Bee Crafty
Called Whimsical Girl - The Kiss
Don't you just think it's cute?
I think it is just perfect for a
valentine's card....
I used some DP from MME "be loved"..
Which seems to be very popular with Valentines cards
this year... No wonder cause it's just gorgeous!!
and coloured the image in with my Prisma's
Just a closer shot of the image and my colouring
.....and my messy distressing skills!!
Please don't look too hard!!
and I think the font is called PupCat... I will have to check on that!
So that is my card for this week...
Now, I know the absolutely wonderful
Twilight Tuesday Design Team
have been very busy creating for you
so how about going to give them some love!
Alison ~ Dani ~ Erica ~ Jen ~ Jodi
Julie
Margie ~ Rebecca ~ Tonya
So, if you would like to play along this week,
head on over to the
Twilight Tuesday Inspiration

checkout all the details
and then start creating!!
Come on!
Show me what you've got!!
