Bella and Edward's Wedding Flowers
Ali writes...
Here are the Bella and Edward’s Wedding Flowers!
We’ve got Lilac, Orange Blossom
(yes, for those of you with green thumbs out there,
orange blossoms are actually white
…but just work with me here ok? )
and finally, Rose. It’s a very soft pallet.
And I hate the winter… so I needed a pick me up with these colors!
These are the lovely flowers Alice picked out for the Wedding.
What a pretty combo of flowers don’tcha think?
So create something soft and beautiful for this challenge.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
So for this challenge I found it a little hard
as I am in no way a "pastel" kinda girl...
I like bright bold in your face kind of colours.
...So I sort of took a bit of a liberty with them!
I also decided to use our very beautiful Dani's
TTIC Sketch 20

This is in fact a birthday card for a very dear friend of mine...
It's Wendy's birthday today...
As well as my beautiful son BJ who is turning 12!!
(I can't show you his birthday card just yet, you are going
to have to wait till the Kraftin' Kimmie February Stamp Release!!)

I decided to use Unity's fairy stamp from the November KOM.
I have been dying to use her for awhile now but was
saving her to use on Wendy's birthday card...
I stamped the fairy with Versafine Onyx Black
and embossed herwith clear embossing powder
and then lightly distressed
around the oval that I stamped her on.
I chose this gorgeous MME DP
(from my scrap pile)
because it was the
closest I could get to Ali's colours..
Although there is not a lot of Lilac in it,
there is a gorgeous orange
and very pretty Rosy Pink colour....

punch for the panels....

Just beautiful Donna! I'm so sad that TTIC will be no more! Who am I gonna get my photo of the week from? :-) Best wishes to the entire design team! Aloha, Linda
I always draw in my breath and say "wow" when I open your blog!! When i was scrolling down and saw the color combo, I thought,"Hmmm, I wonder what she will do with these, they would be hard for me" and then I saw and said "Wow". Even without an image that requires coloring (and I love your coloring) this is gorgeous!! :-)Traci
