TTIC # 59 - Sparkle...

Hey everyone and welcome to

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenges

very first Challenge for 2010...

To start things off this year our beautiful, sweet and wonderful
Team Manager Margie has decided we all need to

Sparkle

Margie feels that with the New Year that a bit of bling might be in order...
So her challenge to you is to:

Craft Portion : Create a project using something that sparkles or shines - glitter, bling, etc!

Comment Portion: Share your inspiring resolutions for the New Year.

Ok..
That sounds pretty straight forward and fun...

I thought (and I had actually planned ahead, shocking I know)
I would use our delightful and delicious Dani's TTSC17 Sketch....
She just makes the most awesome sketches...

And this is what it looks like....

TTSC17

And this is what I came up with...

I decided to use TGF Ebony (aka Alice) for this challenge...
Well come on... Apart from the odd vampire sparkling in the sun who
else could pull off the sparkle look other than Alice!

I coloured her in with my Prisma Pencils and then used some
Tim Holtz Stickles that Tonya very kindly sent me...
(thanks Honey, you saved me!) on her headband and t-shirt.
Then I found this really old set of DP in my stash
and I am kinda ashamed to say this, but I knew it was pretty old
cause it had some dust on it.... I do dust!! REALLY!

Anyway it's called Imagination Project, Centre City, Murray Hill
and I teamed it up with this skull and cross-bow DP
that I was saving for a boys card....
Sorry, I had to Cam.... they go perfectly together!

Then I set about cutting all those squares...
Dani my sweet friend, I know this is a challenge but next time...
NOT so many squares ok!!

Actually I really enjoyed doing this sketch...
It was really fun and everything just fell into place!

For the sentiment I went back to one of my
Kraftin' Kimmie Sentiments Sets, this Set is just amazing...
I am going to get so much use out of it!!
You have to visit Kimmie and check it out...
Well, while you are there I think you should checkout all her stamps....

I should say now that I don't do New Year Resolutions...
Cause I always break them....LOL!!!
So, I will just try to be the best person I can be in 2010!

Oh and this....
I have some more exciting news!
We have a new Design Team Member

LOVE this!! I love the sparkle and the sketch you chose and the papers and your coloring...if my work with Prisma pencils was even half this good I would have never moved to markers! (and thanks for the link to the paper the other day - it was nice to see the full sheets, even if I can't order from there!) :-)Traci

BTW, you have secretly encourgaged me to buy some Prisma pencils, but I'm thinking now I bought the wrong ones. I bought the watercolor ones. Wrong, huh? Must say though I love how rich and creamy they are.
