It's The Principle Of The Thing....

I do NOT make Christmas cards involving snow and snowmen...On principle!!
Aussie's do NOT have snow at Christmas time!... So there is no point!.... But, again I find myself...Not exactly caving in on my principles...Just bending them a bit cause this card is headed overseas anyway... So you see I can be flexible....

Ok, who am I kidding...I saw all of the beautiful Christmas cards out there with cute little snowdudes...and had to make one...I caved completely!!

Lucky for me, my wonderful friend Jen who is the creator, designer and owner of

Wild Flower Kids Stamps

Has the perfect Snowman from her

"Tis The Season"

Digi Images...

Ok, you are going to have to forgive my photography skills here as that ribbon is actually pink and not ...whatever hideous colour you call that....

And of course I coloured him in with my Prisma Pencils....

Digital Images: Wild Flower Kids Stamps-Tis The Season
Paper: Kasier Craft, Bazzill
Ink: TH Distress Inks-Walnut Stain and Weathered Wood
Accessories: Ribbon, MS Star Border Punch
Technicque: Distressing, Prisma Pencils, Piercing

Donna!!! This looks awesome hun! You did a great job with him. I'm a bit jealous of your lovely weather at the moment as we have had two days of cold dreary rain. And you are always to kind to me... I hope I live up to just a tiny bit of all this praise. You make all these little drawings of mine look so fantastic. Very, very lovely work my dear. :D

I love the way you colored Jen's image and your bow does match the dp you used. Don't be so hard on yourself. It's beautiful!

He is absolutely adorable! Colouring and shading perfect, as always. Pink bow gives it a contemporary feel. XX
