TTIC # 50 - Charlie...

Hello!! Well it's Tuesday and you all know what that means another fantastic
Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge...
This week's challenge is by our beautiful and very talented....
Ohhhhhh it's me!!!!

Well, this week I chose...

"Charlie"

"One of the best things about Charlie is that he doesn't hover"

This has to be one of the most memorable lines from both Twilight the novel and Twilight the movie... Let's face it, we all love Charlie....And Stephanie describes this quite and thoughtful man's personality and temperament in this one single sentence. As we all know Charlie's relationship with Bella changes from starting out as strangers thrown together in an awkward situation and then slowly grows into a bond that any father and daughter would be envious of.

So, this week my challenge to you is simple....

Craft Portion: Create a project that represents Charlie's and Bella's relationship or a relationship you have with a 'father' figure in your life.

Comment Portion: Tell us about your relationship with a 'father' figure and why this bond is so special to you.

So.... I had two reasons to pick Charlie for this week's theme...

1. My own dad has reached a special milestone this year and turned 65
and
2. I really couldn't think of anything else...LOL!!

This is a terrible photo... But this is my Dad, my sister Cindy and me at his
Birthday Party back in August... And yes, I need a hair cut! I know!!

I decided that for this challenge I would make my dad a card... He is a very quite shy kind of guy who doesn't really go for frills and flair and I wanted to put a bit of his personality into my creation.....

I tried to keep things simple and symmetrical and neat and tidy...Just the way he like things...

And I chose this "just because" sentiment...Because It's "just because" that I love him....

Stamps: Hero Arts
Paper: October Afternoon, Bazzill
Ink: TH Distress Ink-Walnut, Versafine-Black
Accessories: Brads, Ribbon
Technique: Distressing

Hahaha! Donna so you know how much I love you but I just about spit my Diet Dr. Pepper on the screen when I got to your: "This challenge is brought to us by the goregeous and wonderful... oh wait it's me!!" That is so funny and so dang you it's hilarious. Your card is just stunning. I love the simplicity of the design but as I look closer it's not really simple at all. You've got all those gorgeous layers and the distressing and it's all just the right amount for a masculine card. It's just gorgeous. (Just like you ;)) ((Hugs))
