Having my head stuck in a book...ok, ok, 4 books....this week, I feel some what disconnected to what's been happening around me. I haven't been able to do housework and I have only after a resentful sigh got up and managed to feed my family. I know you are sitting there thinking I am totally nuts, and please don't think this happens to me all the time but to find a book that totally absorbs and sucks (pardon the pun to those who have read the books) me in it's "world" has happened only a few times in my life...It is so very hard to explain, I guess that's what you get for being a bit of a book worm...
Anyway, so now that my "obsession" with the "Twilight" series has finished I was so glad to go out last night and help my very good friend Michele celebrate her birthday.....
Happy Birthday Michele!

Welcome back. I know what you mean about a good book absorbing you until the real world just becomes a distraction. Which is why I don't read as much as I used to. Glad you enjoyed the books, will have to check them out, or maybe not yet, lol.

Welcome back! I have the same thing happen with certain books I read too:)
Now you will have to read The Host by Stephenie Meyer. It wasn't the same as the Twilight books, but still really good! But maybe you should give it a couple of weeks just in case you get sucked into that world too! It took me a little longer to get into that book, but after a few chapters I found myself staying up until 2 or 3 in the morning because I couldn't put it down. Here's the link to my book blog post about it: http://andreasbooknook.blogspot.com/2008/06/host.html
