It's Thursday which means it's Deconstructing Sketch time!!
Today Christy is releasing some new images over at the Tiddly Inks Blog and I thought I would showcase one of the images using this week's sketch for you today...
Although I love Jen's design of this week's sketch, to fit the image to where I wanted it to go I had to flip the sketch on it's side.
I started off the card by printing out Hippie onto white card stock and then I coloured her in with my Prismacolor pencils. Then cut her out and using some stickers, sewing and the gorgeous papers from Simple Stories "Fabulous" 6x6 paper pad put the card together...
Take a look at Jen's awesome sketch...
To finish the card off I decided that it needed a few pearls here and there.... And what's a hippie card without a peace sign!!
If you love the image of "Hippie" as much as I do you can find her at the Tiddly Inks Store.
Here's what you have to do to if you want to play along with us...
1. Use the sketch above to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like.
2. Post it somewhere on the internet. Use keyword DS98 if you post to an online gallery like Splitcoaststampers.
3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post so we can stop by and see it.
4. Check back here next Wednesday to see if you are one of this week’s favorites and grab a badge for your blog.
Want your sketches a little early? Follow the Deconstructed Sketch on Facebook!! And if you are looking for some older sketches to dig through you can find them in the Deconstructed Sketchbook.
