It's time for this week's Deconstructing Sketch. These last few week's of this year seem to be flying by and Jen still has some great sketches on the blog and in the sketch book if you are in need for some inspiration for your Christmas cards...
I have to admit I rushed this one... It seemed to me all this week I have been running around after kids for their after school end of the year stuff (Which I am very proud of them both) and then having an absent husband on top of that, who has been in Sydney for meetings most of this week... And I will tell ya... This card nearly didn't get done!!
I started off the card by printing out the very cute Faythe Gives from Tiddly Inks on white card stock and then coloured her in with my Prisma pencils. I then cut her out and using the gorgeous Fancy Pants "Saint Nick" 6x6 Christmas paper pad put together the card using Jen's fantastic sketch...
Now, I have to admit the whole circle bit wasn't working for me so I altered the design a little... The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the snow flake punch is a Martha Stewart one...
If you really like this gorgeous little image of Faythe Gives head on over to the Tiddly Inks Shop and you can find it HERE!
Now here's what you have to do to participate in this week's challenge:
1. Use the sketch to the left to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like.
2. Post it somewhere on the internet. Use keyword DS80 if you post to an online gallery like Splitcoaststampers.
3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post so we can stop by and see it.
4. Check back here next Wednesday to see if you are one of this week’s favorites and grab a badge for your blog.
Want your sketches a little early? Follow the Deconstructed Sketch on Facebook!! And if you are looking for some older sketches to dig through you can find them in the Deconstructed Sketchbook.
And be sure to hop around and check out what the rest of the Deconstructed Sketch Design Team has made!
