The Deconstructing Sketch #64 - Be Bold, Be You...

Can I just say.... 3 DAYS TILL I GO!! Sorry just had to get that out of my system. If you can't tell I'm a tad excited... It seems like we have been waiting forever for this holiday!! Anyhoo, enough about me, lets get to this week's Deconstructing Sketch...

I knew exactly what image I wanted to use for this week's sketch and I am so glad I did because I don't think this card turned out too bad, if I say so myself! This gorgeous little ballerina is from Tiddly Inks and is called "Be Bold, Be You Ballerina".

To begin with, I had already picked put the 6x6 paper pad I wanted to use {MME's Indie Chic "Saffron"} I then printed out my ballerina on white card stock. Then I coloured her in using 4 different Prismacolor pencils that matched the colours on the papers... Then referring to Jen's amazing sketch...

I put the card together. The dollie is from my local $2 shop and the border punches are from EK Success. The pearls are from Kaiser Craft.

Just a close up of my colouring....

If you'd like to join us this week all you need to do is create a project using the above sketch as inspiration. There are no specific image requirements for this challenge. Upload your project to your blog or to an online gallery and link it back to Jen's Blog using the Inlinkz.

And be sure to hop around and check out what the rest of the Deconstructed Sketch Design Team has made!

She's perfect for Olympic week! They just need to add ballet as an event.
