Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #80 - A Stitch In Time!

This week's
Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge
is being hosted by our newsest (and very cheeky)
 Kraft Girl Carole.

Carole would like you to use some
"Hand Stitching"
on your card or creation this week.

Ok, so I have a confession...I HATE sewing....ANYTHING!!
It frustrates the CRAP out of me, whatever can go wrong will go
wrong... Be it paper or material it doesn't matter, me and my sewing
machine have an very uneasy truce..For now...And as for me hand
sewing...Well, let's just say that if I can avoid it, I will! So yes, I
cringed at the thought of doing this card this week and I put it off
till the very last minute...But Carole didn't say how much sewing we
had to put on the card...So now you get to see my very pathetic effort...

This is my card...

For this card I decided to use this week's Deconstucing Sketch #3.
It really is a fantastic sketch and I can see that I will be using it again.

I went with one of Kimmie's new Scripture Quotes
"Corinthians 13:4-8."  This set features scriptures that you
will recognize plus a couple that are not as well known. You
can use them on cards for encouragement, friendship and weddings!
You will receive them as a sheet of deeply etched, completely
unmounted rubber. Each sentiment measures approximately
3.25 x 1.5 inches. This set only cost $16.00 and you can find more
of the Krafty Quotes at the Kraftin' Kimmie Store.

The paper are from Jillibean Soup's Dutch Mustard Soup 6x6
paper pad. The border punch is from Fiskars and the butterfly punch
from Martha Stewart. I stamped some swirls on the quote itself and
then distressed around it with Tim Holts Walnut Stain distress ink.

And here is my stictching...

Ok, laugh if you want...But I did the challenge didn't I?!

And then I finished the inside...

Ok,

now, if you would like to play along with us all
you need to do is head on over to the
Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog
checkout all the details and then go and make a
A card with some "Hand Stitching" on it ...Easy!!!

AND if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie image you could
win the very gorgeous new image of Roxy that Carole has featured on her card today...

Thanks For Looking!
