And here's my card,
meet Christmas Clara....

I love this image!! Clara is just gorgeous!!
For this card I went back to my new MME Christmas DP
from the "I Believe" collection. The paper's are called
Candy Cane Stripes and Berries.

I paper pieced Clara's dress to match the DP and although
I didn't plan it, a lot of black sneaked it's way on to the card.

The border punches are from Fiskas and Martha Stewart and
the ribbon I picked up ages ago...From Spotlight I think.

And I coloured Clara's hair and doll in with my Prisma's.

Ok, I know you want to go and see what else the amazing
Krafty Girls and our very special guests have come up with
so I won't keep you any longer...Next on the hop is one
very talented Krafty Girl....

Thanks for Looking!

The paper piecing is great. I love the red spots! It reminds me of the children's book by Robert Lopshire Put Me In The Zoo, when he put spots on the kids. The girl has a bow in her hair just like this great stamp. Very lovely card.

What a gorgeous job you've done with this sweet little gal - reminds me of how we all had fantasies as young girls of growing up to marry a prince ... or in this case a nutcracker - art really does immitate life! LOL

The paper piecing woprks so well as does the blakc ribbon which really reminds me of the stripes down a soldier's uniform trousers. Lovely detail.
