TSG50 - Pleats!

Hey everyone...
This week's There She Goes Challenge is brought to
us by the very talented and lovely Trendsetter Lisa...

Lisa has challenged us to use PLEATS!!!
On NO!!!...Another thing I have never tried!
Oh well, that's why it's called a "challenge" isn't it?!
And lucky for me our other beautiful Trendsetter Heather
did a tutorial on how to make pleats just last week...
Thank You Heather.. You saved me!

Ok...So don't be too hard on me they look ok don't they?...
You know, for my first time?!!

I have decided that I am going to call this "My Grandma Card" ...LOL!
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Grandma's but with
the lace and pleats and DP from The Girls Paperie called
"Paper Girl" it just reminds me of my beautiful grandma,
may she rest in peace. She had this way of making
everything look pretty with lace and flowers
....And Apple Pie!

Anyway...
Back to the pleats... I don't know if you noticed but I
got better at making them as I went along and I now feel
pretty comfortable doing the pleat thing....

I used the absolutely gorgeous Sweet Pea mini set
which is designed by the amazing and talented
Chris Dark. LOVE her designs!
I coloured them in with my Prisma's using PC 1029, PC1031,
PC 930, PC 1092 and PC935.

And then I stamped them again to decorate the inside of the card...

Now do you think you could make a card with a pleat or ruffle on it?
If so, when you are done, head on over to the TSG Blog and
add yourname to the Mr Linky that is located at the bottom
of the challenge post. The challenge is open until the winner is
announced on the following Monday April 19th.
The winner will recieve a $5 gift certificate to use in the

Ok...Thanks for stopping by...
And have a great Monday!
