Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge # 17 - Stash The Booty...

Hey Everyone,

I hope you are having a fabulous day so far...
And what a great way to start the weekend off with a

Kraftin Kimmie Stamp Challenge!

This week the gorgeous and very talented
Melanie has asked us to...

"Stash The Booty"

Mel wants us to include a hidden element on our cards and how
perfect is Kimmie's new pirate images for this challenge!
You are a clever girl!!!!

For this challenge I was a bit stuck...
I had all these ideas running through my head
but just couldn't really think of anything...
You know....AMAZING.
So, I went for the old "hiding a tag" on your card trick...
It seemed to work ok....

So without further ado
I would like to introduce you to

Alicia!!

How COOL is she!!!
I love ALL the new release stamps but I honesty have
to say Alicia is up there with my favourites...

With this card I picked this really funky Basic Grey DP
because it is bold and has in your face kinda colours and I just
made a pocket for the tag to go in the top...
Really easy to do....

As you can see I made the tag to match the rest of the card
and I put the sentiment "It's Ya Birthday" from the
Pirate Phrases on it instead of on the actual card ...
I thought I would let Alicia shine as this is her big moment!

I coloured her in with my Prismas...
Just keeping with the colours that are on the DP.
I must say she is SO fun to colour!!!

Then I decorated the inside of the card with a border of the DP
and used the
"Well Blow Me Down"
also from the Pirate Phrases...

So there you go...
I know it's not exactly what Mel asked for...
But... You know...It sort of is....

Now you all know by now that you will be
able to purchase Kimmie's new Pirate Stamps
from Sunday the 14th... OMGosh...Only one more day!!!
And you should all know that if you buy these
AMAZING and AWESOME stamps on either
Sunday or Monday you will be eligible to win
a 5X7 Illustration of Alicia....
