Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge # 11 - Piece It Together...

Hey everyone...
Welcome to my very first

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

The theme for this week has been chosen by
the very lovely and talented
Michele
(OME!! Have you seen her blog??)
And Michele has challenged all of us to...

Piece It Together... Paper piercing, a little or a lot!!

Ok, before we get into it, you have to promise not to laugh....
Cause I have a little confession to make....
This is my very first effort with paper piercing....
Oh come on...
I can hear you snickering from here...
LOL, but I swear I am telling the truth....

So anyway...
I decided to use the very quirky and cute Ducilla for this challenge.
Ever since I saw her I have been dying to colour her hair...
Sad I know!!

I recently went shopping for some really funky DP to use
with my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and found this
one by Scenic Route called "Surprise, Rainbow Road"...
I thought it was perfect for what I wanted to do....

And I had to use
"A Girl's Gotta Do What A Girls Gotta Do"
sentiment... I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black and
embossed it with clear embossing powder, just to give it more
depth and to make it stand out a bit more....

I think this sentiment, which you can also buy from Kimmie
goes so perfectly with Ducilla....
Well, I think it does anyway!

And of course I used my Prisma Pencils to colour in
Ducilla's hair using two different shades of grey and black and I
coloured in her pantaloons and her
doll a really bright contrasting green
that would stand out against the red....

Then I used one of my Fiskas Border Punches...
A little bit of my favorite black ribbon and a matching red button...
And there you go...
My very first Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge card as a GDTM.....

Ok, I also have some very exciting news to share....
Kimmie is releasing some new stamps on the
10th of Jan.
....And OME!! They are just amazing!!
If you head on over to the
Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog
you just might see some sneak peeks and I can
honestly tell you...You will NOT be disappointed!!

Also, why your there why not have a go at this weeks challenge...
and if you use one of Kimmie's images to make your creation with
you will be in the running to win the awesome Blog Candy...
Just remember if you are going to join in and you use an
online gallery such as SCS type in KKSC11!!

Ok,
That's it for now...
Thank's for looking!
