My Insta Week...

It's been a busy "working" week in the Wardle household. Andy went away for 2 days and dad is still staying with us. It was a week of appointments and haircuts, of microwaves deciding not to work anymore and generally running around catching up on things. Not many opportunities to take photo's I'm afraid, but this was my week...

1. Coffee and lunch with Michele on Tuesday. 2. Brand new microwave. 3. Gorgeous sunrise. 4. A little crafting. 5. A little mess. 6/7. On the way home from Mount Barker in the backseat (dad always has the front when he stays) of my baby and me...8. Mother's Day! I got a Dry Fryer from the family, flowers from the garden, Cam made me a wooden bowl in Tech Studies and wrote me a lovely note...

My Insta Week...

The boys are back at school and things around here are back to normal... Sort of, lol! My Dad is staying with us for a couple of weeks so in between working, housework and all the normal everyday stuff we do during the week we are trying to fit in some more exciting things for him to do...

1. Into Adelaide on Tuesday, we went to the new Harris Scarf and showed dad the new plaza. 2.In the plaza they had a big display of handbags, dresses, pictures and a whole room made out of and full of CHOCOLATE! I took a shot of Marylin Monroe all in her chocolaty glory! 3. I made Winter Warmer soup. 4. Had to include my Gloria Jean's coffee. 5. Dad took me out to lunch to Appleseed Cafe here in Strath... I had warm chicken salad. 6. One of our last roses for the year. 7. On the drive to Mount Barker instead of guessing the name of the movie Cam likes to make up his own interpretation... 8. My dorky eldest son. 9.On Sunday Michele, Lavina and I went to Hahndorf for coffee. 10. Lavina and her Custard Slice. 11. My caramel slice.

My Insta Week...

This "School Holiday's" week has been busy with ANZAC Day thrown in at the end this year. We went away for the weekend down to the South East and now my Dad has come to say for a couple of weeks. For me, this year as I am finding every year now that I am getting older, the days are simply flying by...

We love a nice Greek Salad even on cold Autumn days. I had coffee at the park with my good friend Michele on Tuesday and took Cam with me so he could catch up with Michele's kids Patrick and Lavina. They had a ball playing Tennis. ANZAC Day was on Thursday. Andy volunteer's his time and PA equipment for the Dawn Service every year. I have strived over the years to teach the boys the importance of this special day. Speaking of... The boys start school on Monday so I made cupcakes for their lunches. I know it's not ANZAC biscuts but hey... Heading down to the South East on Friday, we stopped at Keith for a coffee... If you are ever in Keith, drop into Henry and Rose you will love it! Saturday was Track Day at Mac Park in Mount Gambier. This is Andy's other love... He absolutely loves his motorbike(s). Well now he has two. A road bike, the Hyabusa and now a Yamaha track bike. It's lucky I love him.. ;0). We were leaving Penola this morning and got a reminder that Autumn is definitely here...

My Insta Week...

School Holidays started this week, but because I am madly saving to renovate my kitchen and at the same time save for a family holiday in October we decided that going away wasn't really an option....
So hence our week was a little... dull, you might say...LOL! But we did manage to squeeze in a few things...

BJ got to add to his Avengers bobble head collection. Cam caught up on some reading. I was awake and up early on Tuesday to see a very pretty sunrise, that never usually happens during school holidays! We went into the city on Friday afternoon and Cam got spoiled with one of the biggest cupcakes I have ever seen. Saturday afternoon/night we went to the Speedway in Murray Bridge. This is not something that we normally do but it was a really good night out with friends... And I finally got to see Daniel and Renee drive. Sunday we went to Harbour Town to do a little bit of shopping on the first really cold, wet day for this year.

That was my week...
