Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 100!!!

It's celebration time at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps today!!
Do you know why??? Well, actually it's for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, if you've noticed the challenge number.....today is our
 100th KKS Challenge!!!
Woohoo! And secondly, this month marks Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps'
SECOND BIRTHDAY!!!
Can you believe it?? So we're doing something special to mark the occasion!

Have you ever wanted to be a Krafty Girl?? Think ya got what it
takes?? Well, here's your chance to show it!! Our challenge for
this week is to USE YOUR FAVOURITE KRAFTIN' KIMMIE
STAMP! That's it...nothin' fancy! Just make us a creation featuring
one of your fave KKStamps and share it on the KKStamps blog!
Link it up with the little blue froggie and leave us a message in the
comment section telling us that you're applying for the job!
The winner will receive a package of new release stamps and will be
joining us for the challenges and krafty peeks for the month of
December!! (You can still play along if you're not applying to be a
Krafty Girl and we'll have our regular weekly winner!) You have until
 October 31st to apply!

And here's my card...

Believe it or not this challenge is not as easy as Kimmie makes
it seem..lol! I have SO MANY favourite images and it was hard
to narrow it down to just one... I love Charlotte (my very first KK
stamp) and I love Drusilla, the glamorous Annette, The Asian
inspired girls...Oh and Willard and that's just SOME from the
Moonlight Whispers range, then you have Cheryl's and Emilie's
images not forgetting Cindy and Mindy and Chrissy's cuties...
arrrgh!!! See what I mean?! So after a very difficult decision in
the end though I thought I would colour Brigitte...I have always
enjoyed colouring her and it has always relaxed me...Maybe cause
she looks so relaxed in her bath...LOL!

The papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Circa 1934 6x6 Mini Deck.
The flower and border punches are from EK Success and the pearls
are from Kaiser Craft.

I coloured Bridgette in with my Prisma pencils and
paper pieced her towels to match the paper.

Now, please don't forget about Kimmie's
FRUGAL FRIDAYS!!!
Each Friday we will be posting 6-7 stamps that will be on sale at
LEAST 40% off!! These items will be on sale until Sunday night
ONLY, so be sure to scoop them up!

The stamps on sale this weekend are: Emilia, Angery Ballerina,
Roseabelle, Carlos The Crab, Sunny The Turtle and
The Sympathy Quotes.

Also, you've probably heard that tomorrow is our annual Krafty Day
that Kimmie is holding for the local stampers and scrappers!!
Well, she thought she would do something special for our online
krafty friends who can't be with us in person......so tomorrow head on
over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog to find out what we've
 got goin' on!!! It's exciting!!

This week I thought I would colour up one of my new
Kraftin' Kimmie "Christmas" stamps Seraphina...

GORGEOUS isn't she?? The papers are from MME's Lost and
Found "Portobella Road" 6x6 paper pad. The border punch and
the little flowers are both from EK Success. The lace is from
Kaiser Craft. And the leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch.
I paper pieced her dress and coloured her in with my Prisma pencils.

I then finished the inside of the card with more of the papers and the
sentiment "Friends are kisses blown to us by angels!" that
comes with Seraphina when you buy her...

If you’d like to join us this week all you need to do is create a

 is a real dozy!!

I think, at first, Jen was a bit worried about
showing it to the girls...But I really don't think she
had anything to worry about....WOW!! I LOVE IT!

 Here it is....

How cool is that!!!
And this is my card....

This is my dad's b'day card...I know that your might be thinking
that it looks a bit young for him...But what can I say...The man
loves to fish and this fabulous Kraftin' Kimmie image named
"Curtis"after Kimmie's nephew is perfect!!

The papers are from MME's Lime Twist collection. This 6x6
paper pad is called "Fly A Kite". The border punch is from
Fiskars. And the little pearls are from Kaiser Craft.

I coloured Curtis in with my Prisma pencils and then cut
him out.

Kraftin' Kimme Challenge #89 - Clean and Simple!

Happy Saturday KKS fans...

I am hosting this week's challenge and I decided
to make this challenge easy on you all...Or harder, depending on
your point of view...I would like you to make a card that is

"Clean and Simple"

That's right people...NO EMBELLISHMENTS!!!
No ribbon, no buttons, no brads, no flowers or blingy things...
You may however use a technique like sewing or embossing
if you chose and if your flowers are made of paper...them too!

So... Here is my card....

I thought that for this card I wanted the image to stand out and I
thought that the very gorgeous and sexy Brigitte, one of my all
time favorites of the Moonlight Whispers range would be perfect!!

The papers I used are from Kaiser Craft's 61/2 Paper Pad called
Velvet Ensemble. The border punch from Fiskars. As you can
see I kept my card very simple and just let Brigitte do her stuff....

I coloured her in with my Prisma pencils and paper pieced her towels
to match the paper I used. The sentiment "Spoil Yourself" comes
with Brigitte when you buy her as well as another sentiment
"Take Me Away".

I finished off the card by stamping the inside with a co-ordinating
stamp of  some shampoo and soap that also comes with Brigitte
when you buy her and the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from
Kimmie's Everyday Sentiment Set.

Now, please don't forget about Kimmie's
FRUGAL FRIDAYS!!!
Each Friday we will be posting 3-4 stamps that will be on sale at
LEAST 40% off!! These items will be on sale until Sunday night
ONLY, so be sure to scoop them up!

The stamps on sale this weekend are: Cup Cake Cory,
Snowshoe Fun, The Krafty Stamper, Valentine Willard,
and The Froggie Family.

If you would like to play along with us this week all
you need to do is head on over to the
Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog
checkout all the details and then go and make a gorgeous
card that is CLEAN and SIMPLE...Easy!
AND if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie image you could
win the very gorgeous image of Brigitte
that I have featured on my card today...
