A Little Laundry Makeover...

When we moved here 6 years ago and we were looking at houses I had only 3 things I wanted... A bathroom of my own that I wouldn't have to share with two teenage boys {I got that}. A kitchen with lots of bench space and cupboards {sort of in the process of getting that}...  And a large, open, lots of storage, room to move laundry... This is the one thing {apart from the bathroom} I have always wanted...Always! Ever since the possibility of owning my own laundry was possible... But alas, it's never happened and so I have been reduced to drooling over my laptop while pinning away my dream laundry...

....Ok, the TV is a little over the top but you get the general idea...

This is my laundry...

As you can see you can hardly swing a cat in here and although I can't change much in the way of structure {due to finances mostly} I thought that maybe I {with the help of my wonderful handy hubby} could give it a little .... Make Over!!

Who would have thought two little white shelves could make such a difference but they do....

It is absolutely gorgeous Donna! I seriously love what you did with the small space. The white shelves add so much and that wall color is fabulous, it looks like a gorgeous light grey. Also, really glad you didn't add the tv, holy crap seriously people why would you want a tv in your laundry room? :D

I so wanted little white shelves in my laundry room but hubby talked about how the stud wall in that room not being load-bearing.... Boohoo for me. But I love what you did with your small space and the cat comment made me chuckle. :)

We renovated our house from top to bottom four years ago and it looks stunning. The laundry however, was the last room to be tackled and got left coz we were over renovating ... and it only got painted two months ago. It's a work in progress and one day I will get it looking like your very top pic there ... love it!
